It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of our founding trustees, Rob Hannah.
Rob played a pivotal role in shaping our charity, from its early roots with Hampshire Autistic Society to helping establish Speakeasy Advocacy, where he served as chair of trustees for 20 years. Inspired by his lived experience as a family carer, Rob was passionate about ensuring that people with autism had the same rights, opportunities and voice as everyone else.
Through his dedication, wisdom and unwavering support, Rob helped transform countless lives and leaves behind a legacy that will continue to guide our work for years to come. In the words of fellow founding trustee Matthew, “the world needs more people like Rob.”
Our thoughts are with Rob’s partner, family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him during this difficult time.
