Friday Network have their say with the Basingstoke MP

Friday Network welcomed the Basingstoke MP Luke Murphy on 2nd May to have their say on local and national issues affecting people with a learning disability. These included anti social behaviour, changes to bus passes, and problems accessing online GP appointments. The group also told Luke Murphy about the work they have been doing to develop their confidence and skills as well as improving local services. Luke Murphy has promised to come back and listen to their concerns about the proposed benefit changes once these have been published. This was self advocacy in action!
