Speak up 4 my health

This project runs from April 2022 – September 2022 for adults and April 2022 – March 2023 for children and young people up to the age of 25.

We will be supporting children, young people and adults with a learning disability or autism to improve their mental wellbeing and shape the future of mental health services.

Advocates can help children, young people, adults and their families to

  • get the right support
  • develop a personal life plan to improve mental health and wellbeing
  • find the right groups or activities (online and in person) and match you with a ‘peer buddy’ if required
  • have better relationships with services and professionals

Using people’s experiences, we will produce reports for the Hampshire Southampton and IOW Clinical Commissioning Group on what good mental health services should look like.

We can work with people living in North Hampshire excluding areas covered by the NE Hants and Farnham CCG (although our Get Connected project includes this area)
