Advocacy Safety Net

We are working with Hampshire Advocacy Partnership on a project to help people who fall between gaps in services get the right support for their health or social care needs

From May to October 2021 people with a learning disability, autism or mental health issues (or other vulnerable adults) in North Hampshire can be supported by Speakeasy to:

  • Find the most appropriate service
  • Make informed decisions and choices
  • Ensure services make adjustments for their needs

Some of the things we can help people to access and engage with include:

– Hampshire County Council social care, welfare or child protection

– District councils

-Citizens Advice and debt agencies, DWP

-Housing

-Police and criminal  justice agencies

-Specialist Learning Disability,  Autism , Mental Health or Carers services

-Statutory independent advocacy

-Specialist health teams or services
