Speakeasy at the National Advocacy conference

Lynda and Amanda attended the National Advocacy conference on 31st October. One of the themes of the day was the role of advocacy in supporting people with a learning disability or autism who are detained under the Mental Health Act in Assessment & Treatment Units, often far away from home and subject to severe restrictions and isolated from families and their local communities. Read the article Amanda wrote about our work in Hampshire which was published in the conference brochure.
